Jeremy Drew is a consultant in railway economics specialising in rail regulation, tariffs, project appraisal and funding, and commercial issues. He has worked in railways in more than 20 countries. Mr Drew was also until recently an independent Board member at Kazakh National Railways (KTZ).
Recent consulting experience includes work for the United States Transportation Research Board on railway financing, for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on rail infrastructure tariffs in Russia, for development banks on rail infrastructure tariffs in Mongolia and Romania; for the Greek Government on railway privatisation, for the UK Department for Transport on devolution and franchising (concessioning) policy, and for investors due diligence for the concession for High Speed One and passenger franchises in the UK.
